"I have fished several times with Chris Markham of Tie One On guide service. I received a fly rod as a gift a few years ago and decided the best thing I could do to get started was to find a knowledgeable guide. I booked a trip with Chris on the Chattahoochee. The first thing I noticed about Chris was his gear and the level of preparation he put into the trip. When I explained to Chris that this was the first time I had been on a river in a drift boat he became very excited to share his knowledge and to help me learn. His passion for the sport of fly fishing is contagious. I had a trip of a lifetime and Chris hooked me on fly fishing.

The main thing to know, is this guy will put you on fish! Don’t worry if you’re new to fly fishing, Chris is very patient and a great instructor. He knows the river, where to fish, and what to fish with. He also works his butt off to put you on fish so don’t be surprised if you use an array of flies. He ties his own and keeps searching for what’s hot. Be prepared to catch fish and have a great time!"
