Flaming Gorge Green River Guided Fishing
Come experience one of the best dry fly-fishing rivers in the U.S. This remote tailwater offers 30 miles of world-class Blue-Ribbon trout fishing. The Green River winds through the Flaming Gorge’s 400-900-foot canyon walls of vivid tan and red quartzite and sandstone cliffs. This protected national forest area, spanning hundreds of miles, offers an abundance of wildlife and endless nutrients for the fish. With 7 species of cicadas, hoppers, massive Mormon crickets, and a wide variety of mayflies, terrestrials, and caddis, the trout grow quickly, averaging 17”. In fact, most of the fish we land are 19”-20” and are not easy to catch. The combination of large insect populations, crystal-clear water, and 10,000-15,000 fish per mile gives anglers an extraordinary ability to spot fish. With accurate casts, perfect drifts, and a little luck, you can watch large trout inhale your offering.
